On the Queensland Government website you can access information and services relevant to your local community or region in Queensland. This can be done by selecting the town or region closest to where you live.

What you can access

By selecting your closest town or region you can access information for your community including:

  • Local public transport information
  • Water restrictions
  • Local weather
  • Local parliamentary members
  • Queensland Government Agency Program (QGAP) office locations
  • Local holiday information
  • Regional announcements

How this service works

When you choose a town in your local community a cookie is placed on your computer to save your regional preference. When you return this website, this cookie will be used to let you return to information specific to your local community.

If you do not wish to receive information for your local community you can turn the localised content feature off using a link in the My community panel on the homepage. This will remove the cookie from your computer that retains your local community information.

Privacy

Personal details are not collected by the Queensland Government to deliver this service - and unless you specifically tell us, the Queensland Government website will never know who you are.
